Shelly Burton
Director of Accounting

Shelly Burton Shelly joined Meeting Expectations in 1999. As Director of Accounting, Shelly is responsible for ME!'s Accounting team and all client operations. Shelly accounts for the concurrent financial management of multiple clients and the oversight of all banking and merchant services.

Shelly has experience working with a variety of organizations, including work with corporate, volunteer and non-profit entities. In her work with these organizations, she performed a multitude of tasks which include: revenue account reconciliation, bank account reconciliation (multiple accounts for multiple organizations), A/R management, A/P management, financial reporting, merchant services oversight, and banking relationship management. She is very experienced at multi-tasking.

Shelly has been responsible for the financial management of international events in France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Austria and England. Global financial/accounting tasks performed included managing incoming and outgoing international wire transfers, processing of Euro credit card transactions, and managing accounts payable with international vendors.

Before joining Meeting Expectations, Shelly worked with the Florida League of Cities; Tallahassee, Florida.

Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
