Steven Hughes is a Vice President and Executive Director of Meeting Expectations. Steven held the
Executive Director position for the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) for six years.
As Executive Director, Hughes was responsible for all facets of the organization, including strategic
direction, partnership development, membership growth and retention, international expansion, as well as
maintaining a close working relationship with key executives at Oracle Corporation. Under his leadership,
the organization achieved numerous milestones including membership and revenue growth, launching a
Partnership Program, re-branding and launching a new Web site, as well as merging and integrating 16
different application communities into 1 global community. The OAUG is the world’s largest independent
users group.
Currently, Hughes is working with the Meeting Expectations Professional Services group on various
client-based projects requiring strategic consulting.
